CCP_15 JAHRE KOMPARATIVE ARCHITEKTUR
The CCP/15Y exhibition, «15 Years of Comparative Architecture», presents a selection of 150 recent projects, organised into 5 thematic islands, through which an attempt is made to offer a cross-cutting reading of the architectures transforming European cities, always from a socially responsible position on the part of all the agents involved, as well as with the necessary commitment from public administrations and private entities.
On this occasion, unlike previous connections, the projects are not presented grouped by cities, but rather by programmatic affinities, allowing us to easily compare a range of diverse solutions to similar problems, arising from the specific regulatory frameworks of each place.
A coloured band on each panel indicates the group to which each project belongs in this exhibition, leaving open the possibility of other types of groupings in the future and therefore enabling other, less obvious transversal readings, as well as the incorporation of new local projects in each of the travelling editions in European cities, expanding the network of cities, architecture practices, institutions and universities involved.
The CCP/15Y exhibition, will be presented at the ArchitekturForum in Zurich, in two parts: the first, on October 30, will feature 50 Swiss projects and 50 Barcelona projects, while the second, on November 13, will again feature 50 Swiss projects and 50 projects from the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.
